Celtics beat Pacers 155-104, off to best start in 14 years

The Boston Celtics are off to their best start in 14 years with a 155-104 win over the Indiana Pacers. 155 points is the second-highest single-game scoring total in franchise history, while the 51-point margin of victory is the third-highest in franchise history.

Jayson Tatum had 30 points and 12 rebounds in 27 minutes of action for the Celtics. Through the first four games of the season, he is shooting 55/41/80 from the field.

The Celtics were a model of balance on offense with seven players scoring in double figures. Derrick White scored 18, Sam House 17, Jaylen Brown 16, Jrue Holiday and Peyton Pritchard 15 each and Kristaps Porzingis 13.

The Pacers were missing Tyrese Halliburton (ankle), but the Celtics would have beaten them anyway. The Bostonians are playing at a high level early in the season.

The Celtics will have two days off before playing the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
